It's game on at the Australian Centre for the Moving Image (ACMI) over the upcoming Spring school holiday break, with plenty of fun activities for your kids to get in on the action with.
Spring School Holiday Fun at ACMI
This September will be the first time the ACMI will run the Disneynature Festival, which will see five of Disney’s greatest family documentaries, travel deep into the jungle, across the plains of Africa and the tropical forests of Asia, showing nature in all its glory. Bears, butterflies and monkeys are joined by a who’s who of Hollywood talent, including Meryl Streep, John C. Reilly, Tim Allen, Samuel L. Jackson and Tina Fey to help our (mostly) furry friends tell their stories, ensuring these documentaries inspire both children and adults alike.
Disney family documentaries only $7 a ticket
As always, ticket prices are kept at a reasonable $7 per person (adult and child), plus there will be themed creative activities for youngsters aged 5 to 10 years, including the Disneynature Drop In, focusing on the natural world.
ACMI's Creative Workshops are back in full swing this Spring, with all sorts of classes for your kids to get stuck into, ranging from coding, moving image skills, scratch programming, movie-making, Lego robotics, Minecraft™, YouTube and gaming.
