Now in its sixth year, the miniature gingerbread Melbourne structure takes months for award-winning Pastry Chef Deniz Karaca and his team to prepare.

Every year there is a new addition to the gingerbread village and this year the talented team have worked on Melbourne's F1 Grand Prix to add to the display.

The Gingerbread Village is open from 9am to 8:15pm every day from 1 – 24 December, raising money for the Royal Children’s Hospital.

ArtVo at Crown Melbourne

Your kids can meet Santa from midday to 6pm every day and this year ArtVo will present a ‘trick art’ pop up gallery on Level 1 near Village Cinemas showing 8 Crown Christmas murals. On till 24 December.

Fed Sq Christmas Tree

Take the kids to meet Santa under the 16 metre tree in Fed Square and visit the snow dome where you can sing your favourite Christmas Carol and share your video on social media to be in for a chance to win a $1000 Emporium voucher.

The huge white bauble is also back during the day and twinkling into the night along with a light show projecting onto the Square at 9pm every night.

Myer Christmas Windows

Now in its 62nd year, the theme of the Myer Christmas Windows 2017 display is based on ‘The completely and utterly, absolutely perfect Christmas’ written and illustrated by H C Floren. It’s an original story of Elf and his search for the ‘perfect Christmas’.

Take your children to the Myer Christmas Windows at Bourke Street Mall to enjoy the display until 8 January 2018, open from 7:30am every day.

This year, there is a downloadable 'Elf Vision' app to connect the window display to the book on which this story is based.

Santa’s Magical Kingdom

Santa’s Magical Kingdom is back under the Big Top at Caulfield Racecourse.

There’s carnival rides, gingerbread decorating, Santa meet-and-greets and wish list writing, roving entertainment, Christmas crafts and a Christmas Spectacular circus show (c/o Silvers Circus) to enjoy.

Book in for either morning, afternoon or evening sessions as Santa’s Magical Kingdom remains open until Saturday 23 December 2017.
