Burwood Brickworks is a new community development in the East, offering a "wholesome, healthy, convenient lifestyle with a reduced environmental footprint." The development is still in its early stages, however, the "world's most sustainable retail centre" is finished and in use.

acre farm & eatery is one of the largest urban agricultural projects in Australia, positioned on the first floor of Burwood Brickworks.

This rooftop garden, glasshouse cafe and restaurant, led by the farm food team from acre, offers farm-to-table style dining for all ages.

Opt for a casual dining experience in acre's outdoor cafe, where you will be surrounded by fresh, growing produce as you enjoy your chosen dish. Your four legged friends are also allowed to join you in the cafe (not the restaurant), albiet on a leash.
