Dive into Ancient Oceans at Sea Life Melbourne
The city's aquatic hub Sea Life Melbourne has introduced a new attraction to ocean loving kids this summer with the launch of a new 'Ancient Oceans' exhibit.
The interactive exhibit explores the pre-historic world of the deep, where you will meet some remarkable creatures that have lived for millions of years.

Meet the marvellous and mysterious Mudskippers, Upside-Down Sea Jellies, Epaulette Sharks and Pig-nosed Turtles.

This display takes you into the 'underwater' caves as you are submerged into the depths of the ancient seas.
Lighting projections see animal silhouettes come to life with matched sounds of the sub-aquatic sealife.
The display also features digital games where visitors compare the jaws of the pre-historic Megladon, the largest predator to have ever existed on planet earth, with oceanic predators alive today.
To coincide with Sea Life Melbourne's newest exhibit, the aquarium will also present a new 4D movie – Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs, introducing children to a thrilling sensory cinematic adventure in the pre-historic era of the mammoth ancient creatures.
