Take flight on the Arthurs Seat Eagle with your Children
We grew wings and flew high above Port Phillip Bay thanks to the Arthurs Seat Eagle during the last few weeks of the summer school holidays.
Travelling on the Arthurs Seat Eagle is such a joyous journey. The views near the Arthurs Seat Summit are so beautiful, more so on a clear day, however cloudy days are just as lovely too.
Arthurs Seat Eagle
A booklet is handed out to the children on arrival, giving little eyes the opportunity to spot key landmarks and wildlife below.
The majority of Arthurs Seat Eagle visitors take a return journey from the base to the summit and depart for a bite to eat in the Eagle Summit Café, offering spectacular views from almost every table.
The Arthurs Seat Summit 314-metre summit is also home to beautiful gardens filled with indigenous and exotic flora and fauna, walking tracks, lookout points and a number of William Ricketts sculptures.
Why not make the most of your trip and book in for a Picnic Package? A Picnic Package includes two return adult trips on the Arthurs Seat Eagle, however you could use one of the passes for a child or add on children's tickets in addition to the adults should you wish.
Arthurs Seat Eagle Picnic Packages
Picnic Packages are to be enjoyed after you exit your Gondola at the Summit. You pre-order your basket filled with locally sourced treats online and collect from the Eagle Summit Cafe. Find your suitable picnic spot, lay down your picnic blanket (provided) and enjoy the serenity.
The Picnic Packages are suited to couple travellers, however my sons and I shared. Note that picnics must be collected before 2pm.
