If you are anything like me, I enjoy nothing more than taking the G boys to something just a little bit different.
These school holidays, we ventured in to Harbour Town, Docklands to check out the much talked about, ArtVo.
ArtVo is a 3D art exhibition which encourages visitors, young and old, to use their imagination to become part of the optical illusion art.
How do they do it? It took a few minutes to work it out, but it's all about having your camera at the ready. There are spots on the floor which indicate were you need to stand in order to get the optimum 3D effect for each painting.
Before long Mr 6 and Mr almost 5 were getting in to the swing of it and enjoying getting up close and personal with King Kong, surfing a barrel, riding on a gondola, riding on a paper aeroplane, and the list goes on.
The exhibition kept us all interested for at least an hour - which in my mind is money well spent!
You are taken on a journey through each themed room starting with Classic Crescent, moving through to Fantasia, Jungle Safari, World Tour, Enchanted Garden, Aquatic Adventure, Australiana, Pharaoh's Treasures, Imagine, Aussie Pride and Dimensional Dreams.
Only your imagination is your limit.
The G boys loved this experience and enjoyed getting creative as they got to grips with what it was all about.
Some of them are easier than others to see straight away but looking through your camera lens helps bring these paintings to life.
The G boys (and Mumma G) loved this unique experience and can highly recommend it to any families looking for something to do that's just a little bit different.
