Get your teeth stuck into Hank Marvin Market's second Big Burger Biannual Event, happening on March 13, 2017 (Labour Day Weekend).
Due to the success of the first Big Burger Biannual last October, v.2 is coming earlier than anticipated!.
Last October, the Big Burger Biannual Event saw over 5,000 people attending and 18 plus burger vendors showcasing their goods.
"The big names like ‘Brother Burger’ and ‘St Burgs’ will be joined by a few new recruits second time round. ‘Kimu Korean Japanese Eatery’ will be debuting and ‘The Kraken Squid’ will be offering a Moreton Bay Bug burger." says Paul Wesolek, Hank Marvin founder.
"Just like the ethos of the weekly Hank Marvin Market, there will be a focus on curating high quality produce, providence and sustainability. “Rawbeet create their vegan burgers using pulp from organic pressed juice and it is practices like these that we are really happy to celebrate,” says Wesolek.
Fun activities on the day will include a number of burger competitions, like the ‘Meat Master’ award and ‘Chip Champ’ award. Event goers will also have an opportunity to be involved in the judging.
Stomping Ground Brewery of Carlisle Street’s, The Local and Great Australian Beer Spectapular fame will be making a guest appearance serving a variety of craft beers and Willie Smith’s Cider on tap.
