Children's International Film Festival at the Classic, Lido and Cameo Cinemas
The annual Children's International Film Festival (CHIFF) returns to Melbourne on 24 May - 10 June in 2019. This year, CHIFF joins forces with the Little Big Shots; a wonderful touring short film festival curated especially for kids. This is the 15th anniversary of Little Big Shots, which started way back in 2004.
The combined film festival will screen a series of short and long(er) films for famillies at the Classic Cinema (Elsternwick), The Lido (Hawthorn) and The Cameo (Belgrave).
The CHIFF inspiring 2019 program features familiar characters you will know from historic childrenís stories including Asterix and Obelix, the Moomins, Enid Blytonís Famous Five and the Little Prince.
Alongside these old favourites, you will be introduced to new inspiring heroes like Alex and the Checkered Ninja, and the bold ladybirds of Minuscule.
The Little Big Shots addition to the program will see a curated collection of short films to screen alongside CHIFF's 21 feature films from around the world. There is also an opportunity to book onto a filmmaking workshop and an industry panel talk on the merits of live-action vs animated films.

Tickets to the Children's International Film Festival are only $12.50 each otherwise a bargain price of $40 for a family of four.
