Do you have a young, budding musician in your family? If so, this is the event you don't want to miss.

Arts Centre Melbourne will host the BBC Proms Australia this April.

Part of this program is the highly anticipated Classics For Kids.

In this inspirational series of concerts, aimed at children aged 2 to 8; the love of classical musical will be installed in young hearts.

Led by Duggee (the loveable dog from ABC kids show, Hey Duggee), children will be introduced to the many instruments of the classical orchestra.

The instruments will be played by the Sydney Youth Orchestra. With some of the musicians not much older than the audience.

In an educational and interactive performance, the audience will have the opportunity to appreciate the world of live music, classical instruments and conducting.

By watching the young performers, it makes classical music much more accessible to budding musicians and gives them something to strive towards.

This is a perfect way to introduce children to joys of classical musical.
