Transport yourself to fairytale land with this interactive children's park filled with famous story tales, legends and ancient myths.
Fairy Park in outer Melbourne is a child's dream. It boasts a huge playground, a giant castle and several hand-crafted animated story tale scenes including Cinderella, Snow White and Rapunzel.
Pack a picnic because you're bound to spend a few hours here and there are plenty of picnic areas for you to stop along the way. There are also takeaway vans if you need a bite to eat and vending machines for when you need an icecream.
Most of the walk is uphill so make sure you have supportive footwear on! It is also completely achievable with a pram.
The view from the top of Mt Anakie has to be one of the highlights and the camelot playground is sure to impress children of all ages.
Overall, Fairy Tale is a wonderful day out with the kid's and you will find that the adults really enjoy it too! Make sure you plan enough time to look at everything as the architecture and detail is pretty amazing and the scenery is beautiful.
