Ample space regardless of the season

A meditation hot spot to say the least, however Fitzroy Gardens is home to some educational, family friendly kids activities in the school holidays period in particular. Otherwise, there are some simple ways that families can enjoy some quality time together at this sanctuary, without the need to break the bank.

For starters, the ample green space is a naturists haven between the CIty and East Melbourne, and a perfect backdrop for some simple family walks and picnics. Just remember to bring the soccer ball. Come here on a warm Saturday's morning in the autumn months, and an abundance of leaves fall off the trees, and they could fall in your face, depending on the wind simultaneously. Melbourne families are really lucky for spacious parks of multitude in the CIty and surrounds, and Fitzroy Gardens is equally as worthy.

Great for bike riding too

Melbourne is also renowned and famous for its popularity when it comes to bike riding, and Fitzroy Gardens is the perfect park for this great activity in itself, although sparingly.

Who could not forget to mention The Fairies Tree. A kid friendly attraction that has around 300 years of history attached to it. Some quality carvings can be found on this original red tree stump.
