Forgotten Places Kingston: a New Immersive Experience by Citizen Theatre
Citizen Theatre’s newest project ‘Forgotten Places’ is said to be "an unforgettable immersive theatre and art experience inspired by local UFO sightings and the mysteries of the universe."
Families are invited into a cosmic space where colourful lighting will light up a giant silver spaceship inside the Kingston Arts Centre. Experience the sounds of spacey synthesisers as you are transported into a sci-fi dream.
‘Forgotten Places’ is a choose-your-own-adventure experience, where you can walk among beautiful singing aliens and giant golden planets, watch dancing moons or escape the world through a giant silver wormhole. There’s even astroturf to lie down and gaze at the stars and dreamy live music performed by up and coming indie songwriter Imogen Cygler.

With plenty of Insta-worthy photo opportunities too, there will be a self-guided ‘selfie map’ to show you were to find the best photo spots throughout the immersive experience.
Citizen Theatre Artistic Director Jayde Kirchert says audiences can expect to be surprised. “Audiences can let their curiosity guide their journey - no two people will have the same experience.”
