Pooch enthusiasts, get yourselves over to the National Gallery of Victoria (NGV) on Australia Day for a very special Dachshund Fashion Show!
Yes that's right Melbourne families, 12 real dachshund's will be decked out in adorable attire, and will strut across NGV's Grand Hall to kick off this year's NGV Kids Summer Festival.
The parade will take place on Thursday 26 January at midday, which takes inspiration from the current NGV summer blockbusters David Hockney: Current and Viktor&Rolf: Fashion Artists, who all share a mutual love of dogs.

Children and families are invited to enjoy the parade, and following that, you will be given the tools to create your own dog-inspired 3D paper designs with artistic workshops by illustrator Alice Oehr and artist group Soft Stories, to be displayed in a specially-designed ‘dog park’.
Over 11 days from 16 - 26 January 2017 thousands of children will visit the NGV Kids Summer Festival to enjoy a dynamic program of FREE activities at NGV International and The Ian Potter Centre: NGV Australia. More information HERE
