FREE New Year's Eve Party at Fed Square

Fed Square's M Factor New Year's Eve celebrations kick off at 8pm. On stage performances will see well known names in the entertainment industry fill Fed Square with music and dance.

Pete Lazer will be your MC and host the party for the night, introducing some of the best live music and entertainment you can see for FREE.

Experience African beats and modern electronic, jazz to Japanese folk, and some R&B and soul to get your groove on to.

In the lead up to midnight, see African dance group, Asanti Dance Theatre shake things up on stage, fusing acrobatics, live percussion and dance. Following that, enjoy show-stopping performances from So You Think You Can Dance 2014 finalist Nadiah Idris, Melbourne soul songstress Thando (The Voice 2014), and Jason Heerah and the Chosen Ones (X Factor 2014).

Other artists taking to the stage include Noriko Tadano and George Kamikawa, Wadaiko Rindo, Kaiit Waup, Nhatty Man and DJ Thomas W Butt.

Sing and dance your way to the spectacular firework finale at midnight, when Melbourne’s stars will celebrate the year that was with a show-stopping rendition of Pharrell Williams’ “Happy”!
