Brisbane-based educators Street Science have moved into the digital space by offering virtual online science classes.
About Street Science
Street Science is a small family business, run by real scientists. Up until now, Street Science has offered exciting and engaging stage Science shows and hands-on workshops. These workshops complement the Australian National Curriculum. Street Science engages intensively with schools and communities along the East Coast of Australia, as well as servicing other major cities, regional districts, and international audiences.
Their experienced science communicators mix humour, exciting demonstrations and quality scientific explanations into an interactive science experience to be enjoyed by all ages.
FREE Science webinars for kids
Street Science now invites kids and grownups, anywhere in the world, to join a free online classroom/science webinar run by real scientists. The events are high energy, super interactive, and absolutely free.
“Kids have to keep learning, especially while still in their developmental years. We cannot have kids going to shopping centres and hanging out at the park or going to their friend’s places, but we still need them connected to school and community and this is our way of doing that,” said Kim Liddel at Street Science.
Join Street Science daily as of March 23rd at 10am. Lessons will be available daily and repeated at 2pm in the afternoon.
This is a public service from a local business who is really feeling it but still reaching out to help others.
