District Docklands; home to the Melbourne Star, ArtVo, Dialogue in the Dark and .. GlowGolf; a flouro mini golf course in the dark.
For months Mr.9 has been asking to visit GlowGolf in Docklands, so we took the plunge during the school holidays to "pitch & putt" in the darkness and survived to tell the tale.
GlowGolf is a mini golf course set amongst Australian scenes under special UV lighting. Putt your way through iconic Australian attractions such as the Great Barrier Reef, Sydney Harbour and the Outback.
We found it quite dark walking into GlowGolf, but our eyes soon adjusted. We'd been given golf clubs and a glow in the dark golf ball each.
The course itself is easy to navigate and numbered along the way. We found it a little busy being school holidays so had to wait on occasion for our turn but we soon moved on.
The boys really enjoyed their glow in the dark mini golf round and the fun backgrounds made for a unique experience. I even managed a hole in one .. not entirely sure how but the kids seemed impressed!
If you're heading to Docklands, why not tag on another activity so you can make a day of it?
