Children and teens age 5 to 16 are invited to hip hop over to Frankston Arts Centre next Tuesday 24 January, for a street dance show and workshop.
Aspiring young dancers will get the chance to learn from one of Australia’s best hip-hop crews. The hosts of the Hip Hop Show and Workshop at the Frankston Arts Centre are Superhoodz, a dance crew who appeared on Australia’s Got Talent.
The hour event kicks off at 10:30am, with a 30 minute performance by four members of Superhoodz, who reached the semi-finals of Australia’s Got Talent in 2012.
Following the half-hour show, will be a 30-minute interactive workshop for boys and girls aged 5-16.
Superhoodz’ 18 members range in age from 15-22, and teach regular classes and workshops around Melbourne as well as interstate, with director and choreographer Kat Reow, whose credits include So You Think You Can Dance.
The Superhoodz Hip Hop Show and Workshop at the Frankston Arts Centre is presented by Black Tie Catering Event Management.
Tickets are $19.50 for children, $10 for adults and $70 for a family (two adults and three children).
