The wild and wonderful Horrible Harriet hits the Arts Centre stage this for the September school holidays and you are invited along for the ride.
Based on the book by best-selling author Leigh Hobbs, the stage show of Horrible Harriet follows the story of a girl who lives in the roof of her school and keeps teachers chained in the cellar to do her homework.
All Harriet really wants is a friend, but she doesn't always see eye to eye with her peers. That is until
Athol Egghead lands in his hot air balloon and Harriet finally meets someone who understands her.
Things don't quite go to plan however, as Mr Chicken arrives and disrupts the whole show. Horrible Harriet will know what to do .. or will she?
From the same team behind the hit stage shows of The 13, 26 and 52-Storey Treehouses, The Gruffalo, and Mr Stink, Horrible Harriet is sure to entertain the kids this spring in another wonderful production by CDP Theatre Producers.
Enjoy the work of Leigh Hobbs, and see Horrible Harriet bought to life on the Arts Centre Melbourne stage for a short time only.
