I Want To Be A Rock Star, is the first instalment in a series of career-orientated children's books, written by talented author, Mary Anastasiou.

The inspiration for this book came from Mary's awareness of this generations obsession with reality television, and the slightly stereotypical idea of what a career in music represents.

She wanted to shed light on the fact that you don't have to strive to be a 'rock-star' if your passion lies in music.

There are many other facets to the industry. Such as an instrumentalist, a DJ, a Jazz singer and many more.

The story is about Luke's discoveries, as he travels through the different worlds of music.
It is told in rhyming verse, and the full-page colourful illustrations really burst from the pages.

This padded hard-covered book, is a great gift idea and makes for the perfect keep-sake for any budding musician.

I Want To Be A Rock Star can be purchased online for $25 via through the Lil Rebel website here. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to various children's charities.
