ICE AGE LIVE! A Mammoth Adventure really did prove to be the coolest adventure on ice at Melbourne's Hisense Arena last weekend.
The beloved characters we've all grown to love on the Big Screen; Sid, Scrat, Deigo, Manny, Peaches, Ellie, Crash & Eddie and the rest of the gang, arrived into the arena in an surge of spectacular colour.
Who knew Mammoths could skate? Well let's say, glide gracefully along the ice as Manny, Ellie and cute little Peaches take a journey with their second herd of excited families, gleefully spectating this rather epic show.
What makes ICE AGE LIVE! A Mammoth Adventure a real extravaganza, is the impressive lighting, which changes with the mood of each scene. Couple that, with the terrific puppetry, which match the movie's characters to a tee. Let's not forget the amazingly talented circus stars, who wow the audience with their acrobatics.
ICE AGE LIVE! A Mammoth Adventure
It is no wonder, ICE AGE LIVE! A Mammoth Adventure, recreates a beloved child's movie, into world class event considering Guy Caron, Cirque du Soleilís first artistic director co-directed the show. Michael Curry, whose many credits include the musical of The Lion King, worked alongside Guy Caron, to bring the theatrical adventure to the ice-stage.
This incredible show has been touring the world since 2012, originally opening at Londonís Wembley Arena. Ice Age LIVE A Mammoth Adventure is now almost at an end, currently stomping into the Qudos Bank in Sydney, and will skate into Perth Arena from 22 - 24 April, 2016 before jetting off to New Zealand in May.
