An exciting new installation will launch at Watergardens on the 15th of November, featuring a BIG Christmas interactive digital clock that will drop down on the hour and display a festive 6 minute animated animal show.
The interactive Christmas digital clock is the first of its kind in Australia, measuring 2.5 metres and stretching to 3.1 metres when animated, set to attract visitors from all over Melbourne and beyond.
The clock will be suspended from the ceiling of Watergardens under a picturesque Christmas forest setting. Watergardens is one of the largest regional shopping complexes, home to Target, Big W, two Woolworths, Coles, Hoyts and over 200 specialty stores located in Taylors Lakes, twenty-four kilometres from Melbourne.
The launch of this special Christmas installation will take place on Saturday 15 November at 10:30am, with Santa's arrival including a parade around the centre, a butterfly enclosure, giveaways, free fairy floss and lots more entertainment. On the stroke of midday, the magical clock will spring to life with its first dazzling animatronics Christmas show of the season.
In addition to the Christmas clock spectacular, a plethora of activities will bring Watergardens Town Square to life with dancing elves, aerial ring and zorb ball acts, tissu artists and fire shows. Look out for Chrissie the Christmas fairy and Santa Claus in-between the buzz and excitement this Christmas in Melbourne's north-west.
In addition to the festivities happening on the 15 November, Watergardens will also host Carols in the Gardens on Saturday 13 December from 4 - 8pm in the Town Square, featuring local school children singing Christmas carols.
