Imagine a library where you don't need a membership, a book store where the stories are free, shelves of books that you can borrow....and never give back.

Hands up if you love books!

Well let me introduce you to The Karingal Book Hub.
This book exchange runs out of the Karingal Hub in Frankston and is open seven days a week from 10am to 4pm. It's the perfect place to take a book, leave a book or even just relax and read a book.

Karingal Book Hub is a cosy oasis in the Karingal Hub shopping centre.

The concept is simple; these books are for members of the community to enjoy and you can leave with any that take your fancy. But don't forget to leave one you've finished with for someone else to enjoy!

There are novels, reference books, picture books and cook books. It is just like a real book shop but without the price tag. These pre-loved pieces of literature loveliness can come home with you for as long as you like.

We love visiting on the weekends and swapping our books over. It certainly gives the kids something to look forward to during our laps of the supermarket.

If you love the idea of community book exchanges, be sure to check out our blog post about Little Free Libraries.
