Melbourne Zoo have arranged another action packed school holiday program for the winter school holidays for kids that are wild about animals.
The Kids Go Wild program runs every weekday of the school holidays from 8:30am until 3:30pm, offering craft activities and games with new friends as well as an opportunity to visit secret areas of the zoo, meet animals up close and learn some of the duties involved in being a zoo keeper.
Kids Go Wild programs are designed for children between 5 to 10 years old, however, kids up to 12 years are also welcome. Note that children must be currently attending school to take part.
Due to the nature of the program, most activities will be outdoors, therefore children are encouraged to bring along a raincoat in case of a winter downpour. Be aware that in extreme weather conditions, the program may be cancelled.
Be aware that some activities may be repeated from one day to the next due to animal availability and weather conditions; parents and children need to be aware of this if booking in for consecutive days.
