With the bigger kids back at school in just a few weeks, it's time to start planning your entertainment for the littlest ones in your household.
You can't go wrong with a visit to the Scienceworks in Spotswood; Melbourne's educational centre for kids dedicated to science and technology.
On Monday 6 February, when most schools are back in action, Scienceworks will host the first Little Kids’ Day In of the year. The theme for this event will be a Deep Sea Disco, and will feature a stellar line-up of play-based activities and shows.
The event will feature a Bubbleologist, live marine animals (such as sea stars, mottled shore crabs, sea cucumbers & urchins) and touchable objects from our museum as well as deep sea disco where children are encouraged to dress up as their favourite underwater creatures.
Little Kids' Day In is an event aimed at children age 5 and under, and encouraged parents, carers and little ones to partake in together.
Head over to Scienceworks' Facebook Event Page to RSVP and to check out the full schedule HERE.
