Little Seeds Nature Playgroup is a pre school (3-5 year olds) outdoor playgroup at the Royal Botanic Gardens.
A very wise person once said to me that a child is unable to bounce off walls if they don't have any walls to bounce off.
Living in the most liveable city in the world has some incredible advantages for our children. That being the case, as Melbourne's popularity inceases our available space decreases. Particularly for those of us living in within close proximity to the CBD and inner city areas.
The wonderful team at the Royal Botanic Gardens have put together an exceptional program for children aged 3 to 5 years called Little Seeds.
It's a fun introduction into gardening and the outdoors in a safe enclosed space where children are able to run free, laugh, jump and learn.
Kids are encouraged to pick up leaves, flowers and smell different scents of the gardens. Free to get get dirty while digging and playing with worms. All the stuff we know kids should be doing, but lack of space and time prevents us from providing.
There is still space to enrol in this fabulous playgroup. Let your little seeds grow wild, in the freedon of nature. Contact the Royal Botanic Gardens for more:
