St Kilda is celebrating Winter in style at the triangle site near the Palais. The outdoor festival houses the beautiful Spiegeltent, groovy bars and eateries all dotted around open fires and colourful seating. The Speigeltent is showing performances to suit all tastes and ages even a family friendly Funtorium Mad Hatters Tea Party show. An ice-rink and ice slide provide entertainment for the littles as well as a giant ferris wheel and carnival side show.
My family and I went on Sunday and we had a lovely time, enjoyed a fantastic view from the Giant Sky Wheel, ate some delicious food and warmed up with some delightful wintery beveridges. Think paella, dumplings washed back with hot toddies, mulled wine and cider or even an adult hot chocolate with liquor of your choice; The kids had a great time running around, but I can't wait to go back for date night with the hubby to see a show at the Spiegeltent, or maybe take the kids to see the Mad Hatters Tea Party.
