Opening in December 2016, will be a World-first Exhibition Gallery focusing on learning development and creativity for children aged 0 - 5.

SEE: Pauline Gandel Children's Gallery at Melbourne Museum: NOW OPEN

The Melbourne Musuem Children's Gallery re-development, is in partnership with the Gandel Philanthropy Foundation, and will be named The Pauline Gandel Children's Gallery, in recognition of Mrs Gandel.

The Gallery will feature fantastic new initiatives, such as a Dinosaur Dig, where children have the opportunity to partake in an archaeological dig to excavate fossils; A Discovery Garden; Museum Objects, and a Camouflage disco, that sees children turn into spotty, stripey zoo animals.

The Gallery will re-open in December, and marks the 100-year anniversary of the opening of the very first Children's Gallery at what was then called The National Museum of Victoria.

This Gallery is sure to be a place that children will absolutely love to visit, so don't forget to put this on your 'must-do' list over the summer holidays.
