Organised messy play activities on the Mornington Peninsula
Have you checked out the Messy Play sessions at The Busy Peacock in Tyabb? I've taken the little guy more than once lately and he has had the best time.
Messy Play sessions at The Busy Peacock (in the large 'shed' next to The Hungry Peacock cafe), are usually held every day.
This is an opportunity for your kids to have lots of fun and get as messy as can be. There's plenty of paint, water play, foam and opportunities to get stuck into all kinds of sensory activities.
The time of our last visit, Mr.3 enjoyed cutting cooked spaghetti with play scissors and painting with his hands the most.
Children are encouraged to wear older clothes; outfits you won't mind getting mucky. In saying that, your entry fee includes an apron to wear during the session so it's only really sleeves and feet that might get messy.
Because the wonderful Hungry Peacock is right next door, you can grab a takeaway coffee and enjoy seeing your little ones enjoy themselves for a good 45 minutes.
Speaking of the Hungry Peacock, why not stop by this brilliant child-friendly cafe afterwards anyway. Grab a milkshake, babycino or a hearty bite to eat. The Hungry Peacock is the best family oriented cafe in the region, with a whole bunch of play equipment for children to enjoy whilst grownups can actually sit... for a little while at least.
