Back for 2016, Mud Up Day will return to Peninsula Obstacle Course with a big splash on January 16, 2016.

The non-timed event is a great way for parents and kids to team up and enjoy the obstacle course together, of if your child is game, let them run in one of the children's heats solo.

Perfect for obstacle lovers who want a great day out with their friends and family, Mud Up Day will once again include dedicated heats for children over 6 letting your child jump in every puddle and enjoy plenty of obstacles, as well as a 'Big and Little' heat that allows one parent to hit the course with a child, as a team.

Perfect for adventurous kids, you child can run solo or take part in the Big and Little run allowing them to actively do the run with an adult.

All the fun, no pressure and a great day our for families.

Mud Up Day will include not just the run, but plenty of outdoor space to picnic, enjoy delicious food trucks and more. The 5km course is located just off Peninsula Link on Tyabb Road in Mornington, and is only 45 minutes from the Melbourne CBD.

The challenge will be set with more than 35 obstacles. Mud Up Day is an exciting way to challenge yourself no matter your age or experience.

Tickets are available at early bird rates from $60 for adults, and $40 for children 6-13, until 30 June, 2015. Regular tickets are $80 for adults and $40 for children, until January 15, 2016..

No ticket sales will be available on the day.
