Ice-cream delivered to you by a team of robots in Federation Square.
The time has come for robots to serve you.. ice cream from a retail store Federation Square. That's because NISKARobotics recently opened the very first robotic ice-creamery in the heart of Melbourne.
Three robots are given the task of ordering, preparing and delivering your chosen ice creams to you as your excited kids watch the scoop and topping process happen in front of their eyes.
Unlike anything you've ever seen before, NISKARobotics is a modern-day experience in which you are served by technology.
Before you concern yourselves that robots are taking over Melbourne, be assured that the entire NISKARobotics process requires a number of real people to make the experience actually happen.
All up, the experience of being served an ice cream by a robot is a short one, and perhaps a little more expensive than your usual ice cream parlour, but it's a must-do for all tech-loving kids and grown-ups alike.
Oh and by the way, the NISKARobotics ice cream flavours passed the taste test, and therefore gets a robotic thumbs up from the entire KidTown Melbourne crew.
