Melbourne street artist David Booth aka Ghostpatrol has partnered with Museums Victoria these school holidays to present Patrol the Abyss - On the RV Investigator.

Patrol the Abyss - On the RV Investigator

This is a drop in activity where kids board a model of the Investigator boat created by Ghostpatrol used in a recent Museums Victoria-led research voyage to learn about the creatures found in the deep sea off the eastern coast of Australia.

Kids are encouraged to colour the creatures created in Ghostpatrol’s signature style while learning about their features and characteristics.

The finished creatures will be displayed on a giant net suspended from the roof that will grow over the school holidays. Imagine fluorescent sea creatures in their hundreds and thousands swimming in front of Melbourne Museum's Pygmy Blue Whale Skeleton.

Patrol the Abyss - On the RV Investigator is a free activity, included with your entry fee.

When: 15 - 29 January 2018. 11am - 3pm
Where: Melbourne Museum, 11 Nicholson Street, Carlton
