PAX: three-day gaming convention heads to Melbourne on 26 - 28 October 2018
Game on Melbourne! PAX Australia the "Greatest Gaming Show on Earth" arrives in Melbourne on Friday 26 October, 2018.
Unlike other conventions that cover the diverse pop culture genre of comics, anime and other geek hobbies, PAX Australia is a three-day event completely dedicated to gaming.
PAX Australia in Melbourne
PAX Australia at the Melbourne Exhibition and Convention Centre brings together tens of thousands of like-minded people to celebrate everything they love about gaming, all under one roof.
This year PAX Australia will run from Friday 26 October to Sunday 28 October in Melbourne. The action-packed schedule will see cosplayers roaming the MCEC, a schedule of excellent speakers and panels, live performers, gaming arenas, not forgetting a free play zone set up with hundreds of gaming consoles, PCs, VR units, retro arcade machines, hand-held devices and tabletop games ready to play.
This is your opportunity to immerse in all things gaming as tech companies introduce their newest offerings. This is also a chance to meet Aussie indie developers, who will showcase their games at the Indie Showcase and PAX Rising.
Participate in gaming tournaments throughout the weekend and try your hands at various video, tabletop, VR, PC, handheld, arcade games and escape rooms. Whatever your gaming passion might be, you'll find it at PAX Australia!
