Captain Marvel: Marvel's brand new superhero movie is all about Girl Power and we loved it

I'm just a girl..who that thought Captain Marvel was RAD!

Set in the 1990s, Marvel Studios’ “Captain Marvel” is an all-new adventure from a previously unseen period in the history of the Marvel Cinematic Universe that follows the journey of Carol Danvers as she becomes one of the universe’s most powerful heroes. While a galactic war between two alien races reaches earth, Danvers finds herself and a small cadre of allies at the center of the maelstrom.

The film stars Brie Larson, Samuel L. Jackson, Ben Mendelsohn, Djimon Hounsou, Lee Pace, Lashana Lynch, Gemma Chan, Rune Temte, Algenis Perez Soto, Mckenna Grace, with Annette Bening, with Clark Gregg, and Jude Law.

For 90s kids like myself, get set for a nostalgic adventure. A world of CD roms taking forever to load, internet cafes, grunge outfits, pagers, huge mobile phones and of course the decade's best music.

With only mild laguage, a powerful, positive female role model, and an out of this world storylinem, Captain Marvel is sure to be a huge hit with grown-ups and kids alike.

Captan Marvel is released in Australian cinemas on 8 March, 2019.
