When I think of a circus I think of a huge mighty big top. A larger than life ring master shouting instructions to the audience. I think about Hugh Jackman in the Greatest Showman gearing up the audience into a frenzy. The last thing I think of when I think of a circus is the classical music of Mozart, so when I attended Wolfgang's Magical Musical Circus at the Arts Centre Melbourne, I really had no idea what to expect.
Wolfgang's Magical Circus
I was blown away; what a phenomenal show.
Crazy as it may sound, but imagine if Mr Bean were to join forces with Cirque Du Soleil, this could be it!
Slap stick mime plus spectacular displays of strength and balance all to the refined classical sounds of Mozart.
We were transported by three incredibly talented circus stars, who timed their renaissance acts to perfection.
Simplistic, hilarious fun using the most basic of props and vast array of facial expressions. Every member of the audience bellowed with laughter at the spectacular performance of each Circa star.
Wolfgang's Magical Circus really is a show that everyone will enjoy. A comical masterpiece that will appeal to all, no matter your age, sex, culture, even spoken language.
