A pop-up indoor arctic oasis has opened at the Common Man, South Wharf and will last throughout Melbourne's wintery months.
Enjoy the coolest undercover experience in Melbourne's inner south west by ice skating on the river rink, sliding down the toboggan slide and indulging in eats and drinks in the chill out zone.
All the fun takes place on the Common Man lawn, which kicks off at midday throughout the school holidays (30 June - 15 July) and weekends, otherwise early evenings Monday to Friday in term time.
There's a program of themed activities throughout the week such as Discount Mondays, Teach Me Tuesdays, Date Night Thursdays, RnB night Fridays and Funday Sundays.
After you've enjoyed the ice, warm up with a hot chocolate and indulge in a gourmet pie, donut or South Melbourne Market speciality; Dim Sims. If you're game for something stronger, enjoy an Absolut Vodka cocktail or two. Alternatively book a table at the Common Man restaurant.
Funday Sundays invite Melbourne families to enjoy a wintery experience by the Yarra with a treat from the candy bar and face painting happening from 2-4pm.
