Storytime Ballet: The Sleeping Beauty with The Australian Ballet

We were lucky enough to attend the launch of the next season Storytime Ballet: The Sleeping Beauty.

We met and danced with the very ballerina that plays the Fairy of Joy in the production. What a once in a lifetime experience for my tiny dancer!

Storytime Ballet is a specially adapted version of the production aimed for children 3 and up. A scaled down version of the full production, The Sleeping Beauty is a little under an hour duration, and fully narrated & interactive in order to keep the little ones interested and involved.

“It’s the perfect introduction to ballet for children, as they follow this classic story of a sleeping princess and a prince searching for his true love.” - The Australian Ballet.

I took my princess mad daughter and neice along to the last season and I promise it will have your tiny dancers over the moon.

Kids are encouraged to dress up and dance in the aisles so the atmosphere is fun and exciting, the costumes and the set are absolutely incredible as they are the same used in the full production.

Storytime Ballet is showing in venues in Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane from December 13, be sure to get your tickets.
