The flowers are in full bloom at the Tesselaar Kabloom: Festival of Flowers
Tesselaar flower festivals are a much loved go to for many Melbourne locals. This Tesselaar event on the Autumn calender is Kabloom. Miss 3 and I went along to check it out.
Tesselaar Kabloom: Festival of Flowers
We parked up on the huge free car park. Now this is worth mentioning that the parking is all on fields. Not a problem on a dry day, however on a wet day may I suggest gum boots.
As soon as we walked in the entrance we were greeted but the delicious floral smells of Tesselaar's many blooms as well as nosh whiffs from the abundant food trucks!
I'd like to point out at this stage that Kabloom is probably the most child/toddler friendly festival I have ever attended.
There was story time in the fabulous fairy garden, ending in a fairy bubble party. There were NICA circus firemen and floral people who were absolutely hilarious and engaging.
Plus a small assault course which Miss 3 took great joy on completing. Not forgetting Tesselaar's tractor ride among the flowers. (Please note that tractor rides are $5 each, or free for under 3 year olds).
