The Big Goose - Mornington Peninsula Kids Adventure Farm

What is The Big Goose? It's a petting farm and animal sanctuary offering tractor rides, with demonstrations, outdoor play areas and picnic areas all rolled into one.

The Big Goose

This is one of the newest activity parks found on the Mornington Peninsula and it is a big hit for locals and travelling families alike.

Found in Moorooduc, Mornington-Tyabb Rd just 800m from the Peninsula Link, this outdoor adventure park is filled with abundant fun for kids.

In terms of animals, there's plenty to meet! The big red petting barn is filled with baby rabbits, chicks, guinea pigs & reptiles. Outside there's goats, chickens and geese to feed. Following that, the "wildlife park" is where you will meet kangaroos, wallabies, emus and camels. Ostriches call The Big Goose home, peacocks, alpacas and donkeys, plus there's an aviary to discover colourful feathered friends too.

Demonstrations involving sheep dogs at work will introduce your kids to farm life, and there's a chance to learn more about reptiles in the park's daily reptile show.

Although animals are a big attraction for families visiting The Big Goose, there's a lot more going on here to keep all ages entertained. A huge shaded jumping pillow, water play "splash park", a maze and tractor rides, not forgetting the amazing climbing net covered playground.

Although not in Melbourne itself, The Big Goose is fast becoming known as one of the best farms in Greater Melbourne, and it's easy to see why.

Animals at The Big Goose are very well cared for. Cages, pens and tanks are clean, staff are attentive to the animal's needs yet remain friendly and informative when curious little minds ask questions.

Throughout the year, The Big Goose offere themed fun such as Easter Egg hunts and meet n' greets with Santa so it's worth following along on Facebook for all the latest announcements.

Big love for The Big Goose. We thoroughly recommend you pay a visit with your children.
