The Cubs are sorted at The Famished Wolf!

The The Famished Wolf have been serving up delicious burgers for many years now. What many don't know, is that these two cafes in Mebourne's south east are a great destination for families.

I was on the quest to find the best burger in Melbourne prior to kids, but pregnancy and a newborn baby hindered those plans for a while. However, I was lucky to have a gem of a burger place located close to home.

The Famished Wolf serve up delicious and familiar burgers, but they also offer burgers for those who love it bigger. They have a great selection of brats (sausages) and sides that are simple or loaded. To compliment your meal, they they have a great selection of beverages and sweets too.

I've visited The Famished Wolf multiple times over many years and on one of my earlier visits, I was impressed that they had high chairs available. This was completely unexpected given that they were located in an industrial area in Braeside.

After striking up conversation with the owner, Simon, I was made aware that he had a young child too! Over the years, they've expanded on their child-friendly offerings, including the opening of their second store in Patterson Lakes; which was more spacious than Braeside to accommodate prams.

The Famished Wolf have always welcomed families to dine in with them. They offer a family meal deal and three great kid meal options; including a cheese burger with chips, fish with chips and chicken strips served with chips. They also have some great milk shakes for the kids too.

Recently, they introduced their Kid's Activity Packs, to entertain the kids when you dine in. These are available for $2 and the proceeds raised are donated to Make a Wish Foundation. Not only are you supporting a great cause, the kids will be happy to colour and complete the activities in the pack, before digging into their delicious meal.

If you've been craving a burger or a brat sausage lately, you know where to go! For friendly service and fast food, head in with the family and experience the Wolf difference.
