The Gruffalo's Child, a stage production based on the award-winning picture book by Julia Donaldson and Axel Scheffler arrives at The National Theatre, St Kilda for just one week this July.

Following the hugely successful production of The Gruffalo in 2012, the Tall Stories' team are back with an enchanting sequel.

The story follows Gruffalo's child, a little girl, who ignores her father's warning and sets off into the deep dark wood to find the big bad mouse that her father talks so fearfully of.

The Gruffalo's Child brings this widely acclaimed book sequel to life on stage using physical theatre, music and puppetry. There will be songs, laughs and light-hearted scary fun for children aged 4 and up to enjoy with their parents and carers.

Most importantly, The Gruffalo’s Child has surprised and delighted young audiences all over the country. Don't miss out.
