Yesterday I took my 4 year old neice and 3 year old daughter along to a Royal Tea Party at the Little Party House and it really was amazing.

From the moment they walked into the beautiful space all the little princesses were completely mesmerised. They were all introduced to Princess Belle and sat and chatted to her for a while on the stage before all being asked to take a seat on a chair. All the little girls were then crowned a princess with their own tiara to take home and a personalised photo (and cuddle!) from Princess Belle. My little 3 year old immediately started acting the part walking on her tip toes and flicking her hair!

Adorned in their tiaras they were shown to the tea salon, decorated beautifully, each place setting with bone china and a girly morning tea laid out for them to enjoy. Princess Belle gave them a lesson in etiquette, taught them about their pleases and thank-yous, how to lay their serviette on their laps and stir their teacup without hitting the sides. They then shared a lovely morning tea of scones and jam, point sandwiches, profiteroles, fruit and biscuits. The entire time Princess Belle chatted to the girls and seriously their little conversations had all us mums in stitches - “from the mouthes of babes”!

Listening to Princess Belle

As hard as it was to tear the girls away from their little tea party, they then joined Princess Belle through a tiny door to an enchanted garden where the girls danced with the princess and rode on little ponies (on sticks). Princess Belle then read them a story and they were all lead out to the main area where she sang them a beautiful song. Each little princess then got a thank-you gift and cuddle with Princess Belle before leaving. Seriously adorable!

The venue is also a beautiful space for parties and events and seeing the amazing attention to detail Little Party House showed at today's event, I am sure their parties would be spectacular.
