The Princess in Black is a series of successful children’s chapter books, packed full of humour and adventure.

Princess Mongolia has a secret; she is also a monster-fighting super hero called ‘Princess in Black’. Along with her friends, such as the ‘Goat Avenger’, Princess Black spends her nights fighting evil monsters.

Following on from the New York Times best-selling series, comes the 4th installment, ‘The Princess in Black takes a vacation’.

After a hectic night of fighting monsters, Princess in Black is tired. She decides that she needs a holiday. Leaving the Goat Avenger behind to fight crime, she pedals her bike to the seaside.

However, just as she about to take a nap on her hammock, she hears a Roar of a Monster! How could there be a monster by the perfect seaside? Impossible. Or so she thinks..

This delightfully humorous addition to this great series, is sure to captivate young readers.

With it’s hard-cover format, large font and incredibly stylish illustrations, it is the perfect step-up from picture books for readers aged 7 and up.

Young girls will love how Princess Mongolia effortlessly slips between a prim and proper princess by day, to a crime-fighting super hero at night.

This is a seriously great series and will absolutely encourage reading for young children. These books would make a fabulous Christmas present!
