The Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo will be making its way to Melbourne, where more than 1,200 performers will convene at the Etihad Stadium.

The Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo is one of the world's most remarkable performances you can experience. The famous Scottish event plays to around 220,000 people every year, and brings together a televised audience of over 100 million.
From 12 to 14 February 2016, you can experience the exhilarating show for yourself, right here in Melbourne. Mixing military processions, live music and entertainment, this is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to observe The Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo, usually reserved for the other side of the world.
Hear the sounds of the Massed Pipes and Drums of Scotland's famous regiments. The spectacular will see a hugely diverse global line-up join the procession, including:
- The Tongan Royal Corps of Musicians
- His Majesty the King's Guards of Norway Band and Drill Team
- NZ Kapa Haka - Te Whanau-a-Apanui
- The Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo Highland Dancers
- The UK Military of Defence Bands
-The Pipes and Drums of The Australian Defence Force
It wouldn't really be a Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo without a castle, and so Edinburgh Castle comes to Melbourne.. in a spectacular backdrop.
Viv Wilson has been appointed as the Art Director for the backdrop design, and has put together an impressive $1 million, 25-metre high, life-size replica of the iconic castle fašade.
Don't fret about the weather, Etihad Stadium's closed roof means you will be comfortable in rain, hail or shine.
