The Melbourne Shakespeare Company perform the Twelfth Night at Central Park in Malvern
The Melbourne Shakespeare Company's hilarious and unmissable adaptation of the Twelfth Night is a fun, fast paced and uniquely entertaining performance entertaining crowds at Central Park, Malvern.
Directors Jennifer Sarah Dean and Paul Robertson's unmissable production simply has to be seen to be believed.
Original Musical Director Ben Adams and Musical Director Alec Steedman have incorporated live renditions of pop classics to fit perfectly into the 17th Century script.
A super talented, note perfect, high energy cast, with a special mention of the beautiful vocals of Nicola Bowman who plays Feste, will leave even the most novice of Shakespeare followers able to follow the complex story. Whilst belly laughing at the hilarious antics and audience interaction.
I would strongly recommend this 90 minute outdoor production for anyone that is currently or about to start studying Shakespeare at school. This outstanding production gives a magical insight into the past., transporting the audience to "The Globe" in 17th century Stratford Upon Avon England. This is an opportunity to experience the joy and pleasure that our ancestors of Shakespeare's day may well have encountered, albiet right here in Melbourne for a limited time.
Congratulations to every member of the Melbourne Shakespeare Company for such a phenomenal production, now showing in the open air at Central Park, Malvern.
