Looking for something to do with the kids on the holidays?
Check out the Tivoli Theatre Pantomime. Every school holidays they put on a different children's classic. These school holidays (July 2017) is Puss in Boots.
The play is set up in the hall behind a church in Malvern. The seating is at long tables of 10 or so there is plenty of space to set up snacks, lunch and treats to share. The show goes for about an hour and a half with an intermission time for toilet breaks and fairy bread!
The plays are funny, and interactive. They are modern takes on the classics, so even the adults will get chuckle here and there. The kids are often invited on the stage to join in and the characters walk around the seats at times. At the end of the show, the characters stand outside and pose for photos with the kids. They are friendly and my Miss E loves to have a chat, even had a dance with Sleeping Beauty one time.
The plays run twice a day every day over the holidays and there are still tickets available for this week!
Tickets are $20 all tickets. Kids under 2 are free sitting on laps. Buy tickets here → tivolitheatre.com.au
