In many parts of the world, organised camps during the school holidays are an important part of life for children and teenagers. There are nature camps, adventure camps, foreign language immersion camps, sport camps, creative camps and various other kinds to suit practically any age and kind of personality.

Has your child ever participated in a holiday camp? If so, what type of camp was it and did your child enjoy it? Was it expensive or reasonably affordable?

I have to admit that school camps were always enough for us- especially in later year when there were 2 per year. I guess if you kids were super into a sport or musical instrument or something on of those camps would be really beneficial though.
