Our grandson is approaching 10. He loves drawing and is quite talented for his age. I have been searching for a 3D drawing book with something more than just triangles and boxes etc. Can you suggest where I might find something appropriate?
Answer from Drawing With Us:
Hi there. Unfortunately a majority of realistic drawing books tend to be aimed at older age groups. There are sometimes some relatively cheap ones aimed at children which you can buy from places like Riot Art and Craft or Spotlight, if you are looking for a birthday gift.
The best recommendation we can give though, is instead of buying a book, take the child on a trip to the local library. Practically all of the libraries we have visited around Victoria have a selection of drawing instructional books. Amongst these, there are always some which are aimed at younger audiences, including comic drawing and manga drawing books.
