Child in a swimming pool. Where did you learn to swim? Melbourne

There are so many swimming pools in Melbourne, each with their own swim teachers and training programs. Where did your kids learn to swim? Was it at a public pool, in your own backyard, or even at the beach?

Kiddie swim in Mt Martha and Kings in Mornington. Great place to learn the basics and advance when they're capable.

It's also a good venue to meet parents in the same position - with kids learning to swim.
My nieces live in Sydney and learn't there. If they lived in Melbourne, I'd be comfortable taking them to the aquatic centre at South Melbourne. Great facilities.
We have just started swimming lessons at St Kilda Sea Baths which was mostly to do with the times available more than anything else. The instructor is great, the facilities small but clean and direct debit payments mean mum and dad can have access to the pool as well which is a bonus.
We are in the Water Babies class for 6-12 months old and it's super cute and fun!
